    Podcast about the Round

I am one of the producers of a new Podcast https://www.facebook.com/TheBritishTrailRunningPodcast

We have decided to dedicate episode 2 to the Bob Graham Round.

We already have 2 interviews lined up but ideally would like a third person to kindly volunteer to speak to us about their attempt.

So if anyone has about 45 minutes to spare and take part in skype/telephone interview then please let me know via a PM on here or our Facebook page.

    Thanks,
    Tim

While not wanting to court controversy, I wouldn't quite describe the BG as a "Trail Run"...

Is on trails or tarmac? Or are you being a touch elitist? Is the BGR a fell or ultra?

We cover trail, fell and ultra running. Personally I love and do all 3!

Well, that will guarantee you a storming response from all the BGR-afficionados out there. Fair comment, I thought.

I have a massive respect for the BGR and all it stands for. It is the TOP event on my bucket list. But my current work and family life mean it will be a LONG time before I get the chance to try my hand. Most of the people we have spoken to so far have not been from a fell running background but people that are inspired to take on the challenge.

*chuckle* I bet they didn't suggest you were being elitist?

    Re: Podcast about the Round

I am beginning to think I am someone who enjoys to run on the fells, trails, paths and sheep tracks (be they flat or steep). BUT not a fell runner as that would seem to be something else instead, and this forum does not match many of the friendly fell runners I speak to when training on the fells in Northumberland and North Yorkshire.

    Hi Ken,

Great to hear a friendly voice on here

We have more than enough runners to interview now that enjoy to run on fells without technically being fell runners

I mainly lurk on here, and sometimes run fell races
