Normally, I hardly ever see any other fell runners, but today, on Fairfield I saw around 20. I was going anti clockwise so they were all going clockwise

Just people doing a recce, or is there a sudden boom in fell running?

I may have seen you as you were just coming off the summit - I was running up with my dog Harry. A group of 7 or 8 others wandered into the Rydal tea shop soon after I finished too. Updated my blog with the run here. Fantastic weather eh?

It was a bit different on Sunday in the rain, mist & wind. The only other runner we saw was Judith Jepson, fresh from winning the Teenager.
