Thanks to the ro and all the helpers was a fantastic event and really well organised 1st time for me as I have been running 7months really happy to get around in 12hrs 37min big thanks to the 2 lads that kept me moving really well

Just got home after a fantastic day out, we were so lucky with the weather. I ran with my friend Jackie and we didn't have one single bad patch, in fact we really enjoyed the whole thing and met some interesting people along the way. We cruised round at a steady pace and thought we were on for around 17hrs 30 but things changed after we were grouped at Cray. One of our party had a bad patch at Park Rash so we tried to help him the best we could. We walked for quite a long time but he came round eventually and managed to run down the track at the end. We ended up doing 18:04 which we're very pleased with. It's very difficult when you set your mind on a particular time in this race as it often doesn't go to plan.

Thank you to all the organisers and helpers. The friendly faces and fantastic food were very welcome at the many checkpoints enroute. Well done to everyone else who completed the Fellsman yesterday.

Ha! She did very well thanks Ian and was instrumental in finding the right line off Dodd Fell through to Fleet Moss - I noticed several people not going the way the organisers wanted.

Of course, she would be the first to give the credit to her navigational instructors .....

16 hours 42 for me... and I felt as sick as a pig on and off, especially between Redshaw and Fleet Moss. Fortunately the fabulous bean stew at Fleet Moss picked me up brilliantly and I felt good (relatively speaking) from there to the end

Well done to one and all - a truly epic race - in fact, I think that's the most enjoyable race I've ever run (now that's throwing the gauntlet down!).

NIce write up Stolly- like the profile of the route. The moon was amazing!
