a couple of people have dropped out, nothing too major hopefully, I'll be sending round an email soon to keep everyone informed.
Leg 4 is actually least affected but you'd be more than welcome to continue

just worked out that in the last 9 weeks I've covered 380 miles including 85,000ft ascent - can I start tapering now?

I'd say YES, put your feet up for 2 weeks and try not to fall down the stairs or anything similar.

Did you do the OCT ?

Daz just to say that I'm definitely away when you're BGing otherwise I'd offer support. I think I've done getting on for 460 miles and 75,000 feet in the past 9 weeks (I'd check with garmin connect but my work computer's too slow) and am aiming for a stonking May before my BG attempt in June.

Hi daz a bit late in the day maybe but did you get your road support sorted? I'm on the side lines now and doing some of marks and could easily do some for you too if it would help. I'll be there any how to cheer you on. Let me know if I can help.

Will - I did attempt the OCT route, but started a bit late and my BG-shuffle pace wasn't going to get me round before it went dark, so I cut it short at Lingcove Beck (just before Cockley Beck) then went back to Langdale over 3 Tarns/The Band - I was still out for 11 hours, so all good stuff (although I don't recommend the descent of Little Narrowcove! :w00t: )

Stolly - sounds like your training is building nicely

Amex - one of the gaps is Threlkeld road-support - you don't fancy manning that do you?

old un - Many Thanks for the offer Wasdale road-support is still vacant if you fancy that? or Threlkeld if Amex passes...? PM me your email address if you want to discuss...
