This is the problem with these double-identity offense-merchants. After a while we get used to them and they mellow a bit. I don't think Yelsew is intented to be enjoyable, he's intended to have arguments with people. If we're not rushing to join in, he's not doing his job.

Yelsew was far more fun in the first few weeks. Come on [insert regular forumite name], you either need to try harder or kill Yelsew and create someone new. How about an ultra free-market economist who thinks the fells should be reserved for those who can pay for it? Or would that be too close to your real views?

    Re: Being chased by dogs

I saw a black Labrador trying to kill a lamb on Sunday. it was off the lead it came charging over the hillside after the little thing. I could hear the owners shouting but couldn't see them. I put myself in the way of the dog. Had the landowner been there with a gun it would very soon have been an ex dog. There was a group of kids nearby picnicing also.

The dog retreated but I was teaching otherwise I would have been after the owners sharpish.

Noel, I've been ignoring your jibes for ages now. I joined this forum well over a year ago and until the forum illuminati, led by King Stolly descended upon me (not that I'm bothered, I can fight my own corner) I had no problems.

I just speak my mind. Seems that you're not allowed to do that otherwise Bryan the banker and his friends come and get you.

Really? All he does is post to cause maximum damage - he's posted three times in the recent past; once to boast about slashing a neighbour's car tyres, once to boast about stabbing dogs and now once more about how much enjoyed beating up a 'chav'. He's either psychotic or, far far more likely, just doing it to be an arse.

What makes it worse a few people on here then actually take his point as seriously made and try and debate with him

I think its a real shame. The forum is actually quite a nice place most of the time with a great little community but arseholes like him can easily ruin it. If people like him stay I think I'll fast end up going. (Hurrah I hear you cheer ).

Don't go! I couldn't do without the daily update of how you go running with your dog!

Oh, I prefer the word Vigilante. Bankers, chavs, aggressive dog owners and anyone who tries to restrict the freedom of man. All legitimate targets.

I think you still haven't given me a decent answer to why it's ok for you to use self-defence and knock someone out, but not me when attacked by a dog? I've already said my own name on another thread (Eddie Cooke)

Yes, you've sussed me. I am The Grump, whoever he or she is. Sounds like an ex girlfriend.

    There's only one Yelsew.

If a dog attacks you I think its fine to defend yourself.. you often over state just to get a reaction..

So you were going to kick a dog because 'it looked aggressive'.. so you kicked the owner instead because you didn't like his looks either... the dog looked aggressive... I threw a punch when someone was banging my head against a wall.. you see the difference? One looked.. one was being..

    I'm with Stolly..

    Re: Being chased by dogs

You need more strings to your bow, Yelsew. Your character currently only stands for things that you've found on these three threads. I'm looking forward to you developing a more roundedly aggressive Yelsew. Let's bring slashing and mindless violence to the "today's wildlife encounter" thread.

What amuses me is that although others have second identities to vent their actual feelings, you have a second identity to offensively state a position you don't agree with at all. As I said before, I think secretly you consider yourself an undercover comedian, a la Sasha Baron Cohen. "The bankers" indeed!

    Keep it going
