No mate. He's struggling. Has been for a year, with growing pains. Gutted for him as he was winning going up, then his knee went ! Some days he doesn't feel it, others he's in pieces !

Sorry to hear that. Hope he gets sorted soon. I enjoyed the evening immensely and felt reasonably strong; especially considering I cannot remember the last short race I did

A night out in Leeds last night. Started off on Guinness, then Dark Star Porter (beautiful), followed by a Mary Jane. I hate to say I then finished off with a few vodka & cranberry juices.
a rare Lakeland visit and a couple of visits to the Kirkstile Inn:

Esthwaite Bitter
a couple of American Invasion
and a Langdale
all excellent, all by Legendary Cumbrian Ales.
