I'll also see you and Lantern Rouge in Wasdale. All being well I'll be carrying on and doing leg 4 as well as 3. Not got a lot of navigation experience of leg 4 so I'll volunteer for carrying duties.

Simon - I'm having trouble contacting my Wasdale support guy - would you be able to do that too?
I could give you an extra crate-o-stuff when I give you the Threlkeld stuff
not 100% yet, just trying to keep my options open...

Everybody - Thanks for the good wishes (esp. the PM that suggested I was going to "smash it" :w00t: ) - if it was down to collective force of will I'd be a shoo-in

    now, back to the packing...

    Hi Simon

Looking forward to seeing you again, I might need a lift to Threlkeld from Dunmail if that is OK?

my "Wasdale guy" (Lee W.) is now back onside - I'm giving him the stuff tonight - I'm sure he'll be glad of any help though

meanwhile... I am coming down with a cold - slight runny nose/sore throat - I don't get colds very often, and when I do they usually don't amount to much/affect me physically - so hopefully nothing to worry about...

    Hopefully not bad Daz.

At least the weather is looking good :

    " Saturday Lake District

Cloudy with rain and widespread hill fog in the north at first, spreading to all areas during the morning. This is likely to become heavy and persistent by the afternoon. Moderate northwesterly winds. Freezing level above the summits "

    Lovely !
