The cafe near the start (opposite Andy Thornton's warehouse, just round the corner from the rugby club finish) is a great spot to refuel after a reccy! And now open Sundays.
Good to see runners on the recce this morning. A very pleasant tootle up to Blackshaw Head. Looking forward to seeing everyone in a fortnight.

Demons to slay on leg 1 this Sunday. We were in about 6th place last year & missed a turning about 1/4 of a mile from the finish. Lost about 5 mins & came back around 10th.
I might have a photo of you looking miffed somewhere. Those recces, worth doing.
I wouldn't mind seeing that photo ! Might spur me on come Sunday ! I stepped in at the last minute last year, so had no chance of a recce !

No, Crag Vale. I have the two Ilkley runners crossing the finishing line. I think you may be on one of the photos I took at the start.
