Many thanks Yiannis, it was real pleasure to run with you.....your navigation skills were top notch too!

Andy - your smashed up knee looks horrendous, wishing you a speedy recovery.

Ian - great to see you again and thanks for the lovely pictures. Well done on getting through the cut-off and making it round, it was a long and very tough day. Yes that soup was something special.

Great day out as usual. My team mate and I on our tenth trip were on for a PB then I got cocky with the nav off COM and ended up somewhere below Swirl Howe. Gutted to say the least and felt very sorry for the pair that followed us too.

Thanks to all the organisers, supporters and cake makers - food is second to none.

    There's always next year . . .

Many thanks to the Achille Ratti Members for organising and marshalling the event once again, in pretty poor conditions.

It has to be one of the toughest fell races on the calendar and the pull of the t-shirt certainly keeps your mind focused when climbing up Grey Frairs to the summit of the Old Man!

I would like to add my thanks to all the volunteers who made this race possible. This has to be one of the hardest things I have ever done, in some of the worst conditions I have run in. As we all know, if it's hard for the runners, it's even harder for the marshals. Can't thank you enough. Oh! and , I'm not sure I want to, but, thanks to Nick Ray for draggin me around.

Someone said 96 teams set off and about 10 or so teams retired but I'm not 100% sure about that. Shame you had to bail out of your BG attempt due to bad weather, we did think about you as it wasn't nice out there.
