Agreed, my 29er is the most versatile bike too

I didn't get on test riding that Whyte you have though Mart, so it goes to show how important test riding is!!! Someones love is someone elses hate... These things are personal, so get yourself testing

Interesting Hanneke, what didn't you get on with- apart from Avid disc brakes which are shit and have since been replaced?

It's not made out of Titanium, I think Hann has developed an allergy to bicycles not made from Titanium.

    Re: Which MTB

Harsh ride, I found the geometry and frame material didn't suit me at all. I found the bike extremely uncomfortable, especially on rockier terrain... I rode it for a weekend, on local wild trails as well as Cwmcarn trail centre. It was a lot slower on regular routes than the Ti bike I had had on loan up to then... Also, my back, shoulders and arms were killing me in no time at Cwmcarn. So much so I was reduced to yelping with pain everytime it got bumpy... I have ridden my Ti bike for over 24 hours without problems!!!
