Great race again tonight,( although one day I might get a good line down. was all over the place tonight!!!)Thanks to the organisers and marshalls it was very slick. Hope V70 winner Peter is ok, he is one amazing runner but unlucky to come a cropper right at the end. . Always a bit of a downer when someone gets injured and carted off to hospital covered in blood but all he was bothered about was being "in trouble with the wife". Bless
Just spoke to Peter, he's pretty sore and had a few stitches but otherwise OK. A big thanks to Kath for her first aid.
No probs x glad hes ok (Maggie is my middle name) Hope its not the end of his running career-he is an inspiration...hope the missus wasn't too hard on himx
Just looked at the website and there are a few gaps in the list of results. I have all the race results from 1995 to 2002 if someone from BCR wants them. I did seven times consecutively(no race in 2001)and it almost became a pilgrimage for us up from Buxton - it was a brilliant race because it was always held in August when the bracken was 6 feet high (I am 6'3" so I had a real advantage over most other runners.) Unfortunately the race was moved to May when the bracken hasn't come up and it became an easier race. I'm sure it's still fun and will put it on my list for next year.
Please! It'll be great to have the full set.I have all the race results from 1995 to 2002 if someone from BCR wants them.
No problem! I see you've pm'd me about this!
