Wasdale to Honister has some stiff steep climbs, the biggest being that from the valley to the summit of Yewbarrow. The climb up Great Gable is steep too, although not as long. The rest is just good fellwalking country - not easy but not desparate, as the Lakes ridges go.
Honister to Keswick is, as you recall, pretty easy, & is mainly simple to navigate too. There are climbs, but they are good underfoot & not too long. The descent of Robinson requires some route knowledge. The biggest problem I had with this section on my BG was descending the rockstep off Robinson: my knees wouldn't bend any more!
