Oh no, hard luck stolly and gav sorry to hear weathers foiled your attempt, sounds even worse than last weeks!!! Glad alls safe and accounted for though sounds like youd have had it otherwise. look forward to hearing report, but well done on what you accomplished on a night like that cracking effort.

OK here it is I was on leg 3 and leg4 with stolly and gav we were in terrible weather from wasdale when the rain stopped if it did the wind rose and after losing time on 4 called it a day at threkeld thanks lads for letting me be part of this on a good the result would have been different

Great training session lads. Set up perfectly for a good weather day after a bit of rest and recovery. I know that wasn't the plan but that's the outcome. It'll seem piss easy with the sun out after this.

Great effort by all, sure it would been thumbs up in better conditions, after being out last weekend for just a few hours, appreciate how that wind and rain knocks hell out of you, main thing is everyone's safe and well even if they are a bit pissed off.

Not pissed off Steve - it was a bloody good and epic day out. Full on wind all the way, heavy showers leg 1and jesus the rain from just before Scafell at 5:15 yesterday all the way to Threlkeld at 5:20 this morning (apart from a brief respite at Dunmail) was absolutely hammering into us. Drowned skunk at the finish - we needed about another 45 minutes in the tank to consider continuing with leg 5
