Picked a disastrous line off Winder cost me a few minutes. What is the secret to getting that last descent right!!??
Said hello at last CP to tinyman.
last descent, follow track to the right for 100 mt then look for break in bracken heading to farm gate. Sorted.

I did not realise that there were cut-off times. Probably just as well.

enjoyed that, laughed out loud at botanical section, I actually feel that should be encouraged in fell racing, it would add an intellectual aspect that may be missing!

One of the best fell races I've ever done, great terrain for running, cracking views, just gutted started to tire after 8 miles.

    Re: Sedbergh Hills

For anyone interested I've just posted a video on YouTube of today's race. I took my GoPro with me and covered all the checkpoints as well as some of the climbs and descents. It lasts about 10 minutes and is in 720p HD. It'd be good to show friends and rellies what you've just gone through. Hope you enjoy it.
It's currently still being processed by YouTube but should be ready soon. That was 23:45 today.
