What are you boys like ? I spotted yourself, Pete Roberts, Hairy Legs, Alan & Steve Bellis in the hospital tent. Can you not stay on your feet? I brought my daughter along to see some of your bloody injuries, but you'd been patched up by the time we got there .

Great run by Roadrunner, you must have been 2 or 3 mins clear at the summit, but I'm sure your proudest moment must've been standing shoulder to shoulder with Mr US Postal on the start line .

I was happy to be a minute faster than last year despite getting a bit of a stitch halfway down.

Race highlights will be shown 9-10pm Sunday evening on S4C Channel 135 on Sky. Well done Roadrunner a terrific run by you today. Nice to meet you and Swoop before the start. Knocked 4 mins off my time on the ascent to the summit from last year. Felt really good on the ascent then the kiss of death just before Halfway house I tripped and twisted my ankle big time and slowly carried on. I had hoped to knock quite a bit of time off last years run but still managed to beat last years time hobbling. Well done to the Organisers, Marshalls and drinks station personnel you got it spot on today. Here is to next years race. Roadrunner will no doubt be after a treble?

Good effort everyone, I saw a few familiar faces from my vantage point(s), hopefully I'll be back in the race next year. It was fun to watch though .
Roadrunner was so far ahead on the descent I wondered if the rest of the race had been stopped by a farmers protest as per the TdF .
Beautiful day for it, but I guess it was still a bit warm for some on the ascent .
Mr US Postal looked a bit worse for wear at the finish , he didn't have such a good descent this year .

Bit shell shocked for my earlier post - long bath and an hour in the Goldie and I'm right as rain now!

You're hot for the results Fellrunner - I too was faster than last year by 1 min 1 sec - was this the railway line effect. Nevertheless I was happy considering getting seriously winded coming down. They should have an award for club of the race (as opposed to first team) - this would have to be Teignworth Trotters from Devon - there must have been 20 of them and they all waited at the finish to cheer their clubmates in - well done guys!

Well done W.H. was that a PB ?
Fellrunner too, 1-18 is pretty nippy .
I spoke to Don Williams who modestly claimed to have no idea what his time was . 1-28 ain't bad for a 67 or 68 year-old is it ?

    Hmmm

    Re: snowdon race 2007

Just got home after a vey enjoyable weekend. Did half on Friday and the full race today (1.52).
Good to see so many forumites. Sorry to pass you at the end Pinno. Hope your injury is not too bad.
Having lost over 100 places on the descent I flew down the tarmac at the end picking up a dozen places!
Don't know if I will be on the highlights but the women at the top shoved a microphone at me at the summit and asked what was the first thing I'd be doing at the finish so I said "having a pint!"
