Here is a link to my photos from Mam Tor.
There are some really good shots here. I just scanned all of them looking for myself and I found it, I'm number 90 in photo 7520! Incidentally the guy covering my face with his elbow was the runner whose head was split open (unless there was 2 of em). Fantastic shots though, especially the ones showing the ridge.

My first time doing the race. Found it pretty punishing especially Jacob's Ladder to Grindslow Knoll into the wind. Thanks everyone for great organising, looking forward to doing it again next year.

I'm afraid I'll need to leave you hanging on what the alternative route will be until its confirmed.

But it's good! And I think it will improve the race.

Have some other plans too. But not telling you them either... ;-)

That's Rob Taylor just ahead of you. He ran into a tree branch along that sunken lane at the bottom of Lose Hill. He was fine; it looked a bit worse than it was.

Does that include the compulsory down and up, or the anti-clockwise route option?

Did anyone do the up and down?

(obviously I was going to, but slipped out of contention so took the scenic route )

I believe 3rd place did and gain 2 places by doing it.

Yes a few. certainly Rhys, LLoyd, Neil Northrop from DP. Plus a few others, It paid off for some and not for others.

I was sceptical at this time of the year as the bracken was up and there was a bit of bashing to do.
