On Sunday I will retrace Daz's last steps as I run the final leg of the Ian Hodgson Relay just like he did last.

I'm worried I'm not really up to racing the distance with the climbing involved to be properly competitive for the team, but the thought of doing Daz proud will spur me on.

The rattle of donations just now reminded me to post this. His road and cross country club, Ilkeston Running Club are donating the proceeds of their annual 'Double or Quits' race to the two charities. 31 August, 5 miles or 10 miles over a muti-terrain course in Shipley Park, Derbyshire.

Thanks to Simon and Ilkstone RC for their continued support. Myself and BrentPFR joined them for a 5k race last night where they presented us with a Cheque for £775.
