We spoke to two other groups who had recced it and had the same trouble. However as it is the reverse of the way out on leg 1 I imagine it will be well flagged/marshalled on the day?
Just to ease more worries and just in case any of you lot are planning on heading down early for a recce - we've just been out marking courses. So leg 1 is more or less fully marked - just the odd section requires some denser marking. So that hard-to-follow descent of leg 2 and 4 is now clearly marked. Leg 4 is also marked, but again parts will be more densely marked in next few days.

Can't believe that those who are doing predictions have not mentioned the Wharfedale lot. Most of their athletes have had a cracking season, the could easily be dark horses to do very well. I don't think they will win but possible podium and upset a few more 'illustrious' fell teams. Good luck to them all, hope they do well!!!
