Obviously not a clean athlete.
Cracking stuff yesterday. I was (un)lucky enough to be on leg 2 and what a belter it was. There was some weather up there....Just a shame I'm so lame at descending.
Only gripe was that the start-finish area didn't really allow for much spectators. Always good when the final descent is in full view. But thats a minor point. Cheers to all.
Cracking event yesterday!
Below are some Vine videos from yesterday.. for those that don't use Vine, it's a 6 second video which aren't overly high quality but upload to the internet within seconds.

Dark Peak were just unbeatable yesterday, top effort guys.
Will
Some good little vids there Will, love the one with GG looking round to see whether he'd manage to lose Tim or not ;-) I had a nice chat with your dad at our campsite in the morning - he seemed to do well on the final leg.
Belting route for leg two after the first couple of miles which seemed to have a lot of roadwork in it, although I'd say for most that was a good 10-15 minutes harder than last year's leg two. Only part of that was down to the weather and underfoot conditions. I'm glad Zoe managed to get round it in good order with me for the mixed team but guys, how come our one and only girlie ended up doing the toughest leg?
Thank you Eryri for a good event, looking forward to seeing our missing ladies' teams on the results shortly (no, they didn't go AWOL on the nav leg!)
And apologies for ignoring you for awhile. As you can see, I'm not called Tony - not as old or as skinny as him ... and far slower at descending. Couldn't find Andy at S/F but then found he's gone of to collect you. Hope you are soon recovered.
Glad I was overdressed - I was quite toasty for most of leg 4, having seen the state of a couple of our club on returning to the tent.
Great event - always the best of the year.Leg 2 was a cracking route - would love to do it as a single race...and in better conditions obviously!I'll echo all the other comments&feedback.Plus a more general one - please, please, please can the event be on a Saturday rather than a Sunday?!
