We were asked by the race organiser Pete Jebb (PeeJay) to make a short film of this year's race.

    Here is the result...
    Hope you enjoy it.

Full 'best practice' kit is it, Pete?

Cloudbase is supposed to around Hag Dike first thing, but is forecast to lift above the summits. Never done this race in clear weather!

I'll be there, one of my favourite races. I wonder how deep the ' bog ' is this year.

It's a slow drainer on the impermeable Namurian 'Grassington Grit' Gritstone plateau, so, what with all the recent storms i'd say fairly wet. The modern fell runner knows his Geology, you know . You needn't get stuck, though, i like to carry momentum into my falls and turn them into impromptu Judo Rolls.

Good turnout today for this cracking little race. It was a Yorkshire championship race and it showed with the calibre of runners milling about with the top honours going to Ben and Vic. Had to rush off after the race for Chorley v Halifax in the fa cup( current score 0-0).
    Many thanks to all involved.
