Well done Swoop just had a message from Sinatra he has also downloaded it. Once you have it on the computer you can always burn it to a DVD. I will try it tomorrow. Just going to sort the last of Saturday's photos.
An interesting race to watch – who says fell running is too boring to be a spectator sport? Good film direction can always create compelling viewing. Well done S4C!
I’m surprised that there hasn’t been any discussion about some aspects of the race. Surely the fact that the first two runners down the mountain were unselected is worthy of note? And the fact that the second man home was a veteran must raise a few questions, surely?
And, for an international race, is it usual for runners to share a crowded path with the public? Is this why only three non-UK countries fielded teams?
Super film, a good, hard race and, for me, some happy memories – but I think there is room for improvement.
For once I agree with much of what YT has wrote. Regarding selection, well thats the beauty of selection. I was selected but couldn't commit to the race 9 weeks before the event. I had entered myself anyway so it made no difference to me. If it was ever going to be turely international, then surely it needs some good international runners? Italians, French, Austians etc. Make it more like a grand prix race out in Europe with good prize money and then therefore more chance of attracting more international runners.
Photos update - Another 80 have been uploaded this morning. Just about another 30-40 to do this afternoon then all done.

ROADRUNNER . do you think with perfect conditions ect ect , kenny stuarts 1985 record could be beaten ?
Not by me! What is perfect weather? Does the record have nothing to d with the surface?
Was the Kenny Stuart record for this race done by using part of the railway track? or was it completed on the mountain track? partly using the railway did seem to make it quicker this year. I think the surface makes a big difference.
