I don't blame the Aussies for rubbing our noses in it, but have they not just witnessed what happens when you really upset a fast bowler? Jimmy, go and sort them out in Adelaide lad

A big win for Nepal in the ICC T20 qualifier quarter final today. They needed 13 off the last over against Hong Kong and won it on the last ball, Afghanistan for them in the semi next

Nepal 91 all out, Afghanistan 13 for 2 after three overs, could be a tight finish

Surely there are some Australian fell runners who would like to point out how we're not so chirpy about our cricket team now, and how we can't handle the pressure.

    No?

But seriously, cricket is all about seizing the initiative. We lost it in the first test when we didn't bowl them out cheaply after they were not very many for 6. And we lost it in this test with those few dropped catches.

Ah well, let's hope for a draw and see if we can win the next one.

Well, my 3-1 England call is going exactly as planned. Lose first test, start badly in the second but salvage a draw, accelerate away in the final three tests to Ashes glory. Easy.

    Pathetic, gutless, abject.

    Goodbye ashes.

Over 500 behind with 2 days to go and extras were the 4th highest scorer.
    Didn't reach 200 AGAIN.
Sorry Hank, only one winner here and in the series.

The Ashes have GONE till next time.

It goes to show how much psychology plays in games like cricket. I think that Aussie had it about right when he said England looked scared in the last test. And they've not been able to shake it off in this one. Mitchell Johnson's a good fast bowler when he gets it right, but he's not that good.

Every now and then, when I was working, some fool used to line up a hospital team to play against the local cricket team. Once we played against the Essex second 11 in Chelmsford - absolutely terrifying facing their fast bowler - and it felt like the whole world was watching intently as you made a fool of yourself, showed your fear and almost wet your pants. It did help me understand what batsmen have to go through.

    Lost again

Cooke is a good captain when the team is playing well but he needs to man up when the going is not good and rally his players and stop all this "We have to look deep into our inner souls to drag something out." crap!
