Might as well pack up and go home for good. 5-0 white wash is on the cards, run for the hills. We're all doomed.

I'm as confident now that we'll manage to scrape at least one draw, as I was previously when I was predicting England would win the series comfortably.

    Mark my words.

Series like this happen and are often a good thing in the long run. It makes undroppable players that have flattered to deceive in recent times suddenly exposed and this will either gee them up or move them on. So long KP, thanks for the memories....

It's a good time to take stock and build new people into a plan, including changing the coach who i suspect is marking time anyway.

We needed this to happen and painful though it is, it's going to help English cricket move on and bring in the talent we have in the wings.

Gutted for Onions - he would have done well at Brissie for sure and maybe on the flat drop in at Adelaide

Looks like "little urn" will be returning to Australia. Dumb idea holding them so quickly after the previous Ashes series. Australia are back again in summer 2015. 2 years was about right for the Ashes and if the world cup gets in the way then miss a year. England play much more Test Cricket than other teams, which is mainly down to money, and its beginning to show.
