TBH maybe Moyes wont work out. But I'm glad we went for him. He did superb at Everton, you can at least admit that, and by the end they played decent football, but he built them up from the dregs of the league.

He deserved a shot with a good team and United went for it. TBH I thought he may have gone abroad as I didnt think any of those above would go for him.

But re-writing his time at Everton as anything but superb is odd.. OK they were workmanlike for much of the time but bloody hell what was Mancini?? and Mourinho?? They both had similar approaches, but in the last few years when he built a more fluid team they could score goals as we both found out..

Iain I admire your loyalty but as has already been suggested the first hints of desertion by the fans is becoming evident.

Apparently this week United sent an email to supporters announcing that tickets for the next 3 home games were on open sale, available to anyone. This is unheard of. In the recent past fans who did not have season tickets had to be members just to enter their name in a ballot for tickets for league games. Whole internet communities have grown up to steer fans towards spares etc.

Now anyone with a phone and a credit card can pick them up. Not just one either. Four together if you want. You can't defend the indefensible mate.

No its not.. for quieter games you do get that.. just if we are winning noone cares..

I'm quite enjoying it TBH,.. its football.. I said many times how the QPR game was one of the best games I ever saw.. thats football... from 1996 penalty losses to 2008 penalty wins.. extremes of emotion... you need lows to enjoys high..

No I never went to west ham. Bradford coches stop going there or the Liverpool and Everton, they always came home with no windows in them.

my brother and i got chased around Liverpool by a group of dippers with a knife once. We got of the train and they asked for the time. My beautiful Yorkshire accent gave the game away. Anyway last laugh was on them when the gifted Gordon McQueen scored the only goal. Good journey home with a plastic bottle of top quality cider.

I'd take the pairing of Gordon McQueen and martin Buchan than todays ensemble. Buchan would get into any fergies teams.
Come to think of it I'd have nicholl over Fabio, albiston over evra, Coppell over Valencia, micky Thomas over nani, macari over Rooney because macari never asked for a transfer and finally Jordan over rvp because rvp is never fit.

That is a big factor. He was "never fit" at Arsenal. Last year was an exception and probably won the title for United.

I think his injuries have a lot to do with Moyes' training regime this year.

I was at Wrexham 20 odd years ago when Micky Thomas scored that free kick against Arsenal. I always rated Gordon Hill on the opposite wing to Coppell

you preferred hill to Thomas? Hill was good but lacked tracking back. I think Thomas was the better player but swop them both for John Robertson of forest
