    Hey up Ben

I did send you bits of the route and description and yes, you promised me a pint!

Seeing as most of the detail was the Esk hause=>Scafell>Styhead bit we'll call it quits!

    See you next year.

Latest score: Dale Head 2 Average Punter 1

Just like to say thanks to all the people involved in the decision to shorten the course. This finally allowed me to come down Dale Head without having to sit down for 15 minutes at the tarn and wait for my body to start working again.

Once again, I tip my hat to the people who are prepared to stand around in various wind-blown parts of the British Isles handing out goodies to the legion of the damned who feel compelled to run themselves ragged over the hills. To the unknown lady handing out jelly babies on top of Dale Head, I salute you.

That would be our little gang of 4.
Gave out two full packs of sweets and 6 litres of water in all.
    Daz H seemed particularly grateful.
Would rather have been running though, but bad guts had ruled me out.
Not beer induced may I add, although Thursday night was quite interesting!!!

A big Thanks from me too - Pinched 2 jellies and a swig of water, was probably incoherent at that point but did wibble a thank you and something about something....

Oh heck! I wasn't aware of anybody at all on Dale Head - let alone someone I knew (Jo). Good to meet you after the race, anyway, PP. Shame you couldn't run, hope you're better now.
