talking of British road movies, I watched Sightseers the other night and was pleasantly (if that's the right word) surprised
    very well directed/acted/scripted
probably the best film I've ever seen about [Spoiler Alert] mental people randomly killing strangers

without giving too much away, I particularly liked the line near the end when the bloke says:
"So, did you have a nice holiday?"

Wolf of Wall Street - Mental film!
Based on a true story it says..
I thought it was going to be a boring financial documentary film. How wrong I was!

    NSFW

Railway Man. Firth and Kidman superb. Moving story well told. No flash, no bang.

Scott Pilgrim vs the world - very good. It's like a new genre.

Scott Pilgrim is brilliant as is Sightseers in a dreadful way. Mind you I'm confused how in Sightseers they managed to see Ribblehead Viaduct from what looked like the top of Wrynose (or Hardknott?) Pass in the Lakes

Funny Games, for the second time.

Bleak, disturbing and cold. Can see why it was so controversial and divided opinion.
