I think I was jumping around like an excited schoolboy all weekend Geoff, I had a fantastic weekend.

The farmer even jet washed my car down once he had towed me out of the field. Hats of to that man.

I was going to ask for a breakfast but had to shoot off.

Race wise I really enjoyed it,and for once on a long run, I did not feel all wobbly and the wheels stayed attached.

    Cheers

    Excellent!

That's really good news Jamie - I'm really pleased that you've got everything sorted out now. Well done.

I remember Jamie running past me like a scalded cat, shouting "I'm going too fast, I'm going too fast"

What was that special supplement you were taking?????

I reckon Manhar was dishing out 'special stuff' but I realize you guys won't be in a position to acknowledge it.

Would rather have been running though, but bad guts had ruled me out.
Not beer induced may I add, although Thursday night was quite interesting!!!
    Not beer induced??!! Unutterable bollocks!

Would that have been the small children by the still crossover going up Dale head? Thanks for the jelly babies.

And someone else near the summit of Dalehead gave me water - again, thanks.

I've had a two day hangover - great day sat!- i was really happy when they announced we didnt have to go up scafell pike - i thought - ah its in the bag now but then it all started to feel a little flat coming round to allen crags, then i changed my mind about it again and got really giddy with all the people handing out sweets and biscuits in the key places - especailly the chap who gave us a caramac biscuit before esk hause, and the kids at sty head with loads of orange poweraid, its was such a great day and I think the best borrowdale bash I've been to! I ran 4:38, ran half the route with hotdog and sunny then tested my own nav from windy gap......which was intersting but i found my way to the finish and am really sorry for bumping into the girl from tring as we ran through the village.

I can't remember anything about the race apart from a blue clad walker who held out his water bottle for me as i ran past. Thankyou friend.
While i was unconscious someone apparently stole my number and pinned it onto a very tired old man who was wearing a new cap that was too small for him. Pete Bland must be congratulated for telling him it looked alright.
