    Hi Alun,

I'm afraid I'll have to apologise on 2 counts - firstly for not seeing this sooner and secondly as I've now received an email from the organiser and he confirmed that they have a sizeable 'reserve list' I have replied offering my place to the next on that list.

Hope you still get a place.

    Cheers

I have, reluctantly, offered my place back to the organisers. 2 years on the bounce now ! Good luck to all.

What is the view on line choice from Whetstone Gate to West Buck Stones: Head north to the trail from the cross or just go at one side or other of the wall? And then from the boundary stone down to Pipers Gate, I assume the gate in the more westerly field will be used as that is at SE085471

Not that I'm being ultra competitive about this or anything

Dan, I always follow the path to the left hand side of the wall to West Buck Stones (this was as boggy as ever yesterday !). Then follow the path across the moor & down to the CP on The Millenium Way. I believe there was some confusion here last year as the CP was moved further back up The MW by a few hundred yards ! Good luck Dan.

i prefer to head down keighley gate rd a hundred yards or so and then branch left via cowpers cross (?) and along that trail to the stones (if i'm thinking of the correct part of the race). As Jez says, last year they put the checkpoint in what i gather was the wrong place (certainly different to 2012), so you had to do a mini out and back an on the millenium way.
