i prefer to head down keighley gate rd a hundred yards or so and then branch left via cowpers cross (?) and along that trail to the stones (if i'm thinking of the correct part of the race). As Jez says, last year they put the checkpoint in what i gather was the wrong place (certainly different to 2012), so you had to do a mini out and back an on the millenium way.
