A run around the Anniversary Waltz route today with my daughter, her boyfriend and our dog Penny (the one in my avatar...like me she has a acquired a lot of grey hairs since that snap was taken but she had the sprightliness of a puppy today and really enjoyed it).
Very chilly and gusty on the tops but not a drop of rain.
    About 12 miles, 1200m

Well done mate, I did a 5.5 mile cross country race, very muddy and wet underfoot, then a 15.5 mile road run to round it off.

About 9 mile, Clapham to Ingleborough and back! Managed to get mis-placed on the top due to watching the birds there. Still not sure if they are Snow Buntings!? I must have turned around whilst watching them, set off thinking I was going the other way.....

Easy day today.. 7.5 at lunch.. stunning loop along the river 7:25 pace...

Pm: 9.35 at 6:09 pace.. recovery.. then 0.3 further recovery at 13 min mile pace whilst I snotted out.. that was meant to be a steady 10 but strangely felt good.. cleared the nose...

Ran 10 miles to work with my rucksack in the morning, but my knee started giving me trouble, shame as I was going well. Painful to walk afterwards so I dropped the night time club training session. I have booked in with the phyiso but she can't see me until Friday.

I didn't think running all them miles (on road?) with a 20K rucksack sounded like a good idea. I suspect the physio will think likewise.

    20K rucksack, is that kilos?

Are you planning on bringing a wood burning stove along for the LAMM.

Oh, I should have some dates sorted for a training weekend in the next couple of days. Will email. Likely mid to late April is the first free time.
