Well, Jeff Norman won the Three Peaks six times in a row and is still the only person ever to have gone under 2.30.
Not just a fell runner, he also still holds the record for the Snowdonia Marathon and his World 50K track record set in
1980 still stands. At 69 he is still competing on the road, cross country and fells and regularly wins the M65 prize.
