Flag stones will be controversial Nick. They already exist from top of Great Hill south to col and then out along stipplers edge almost to the fell road that drops down to Rivington.

Stagger? What about the rest of us, Daz....?!
Thankfully, managed to battle through the wind & bogs at Mickleden the other weekend in a half-decent 2 hours 12 minutes, ensuring a respectable start to February with 75 points against Tim Ellis's winning time of 1.45.
Not sure I'll be able to top that at Flower Scar, as there's bound to be some whippets out & about!
Hobbsy if you had seen me trying to run at AA and getting a PW you might think you had little to fear!

Hi Daz,
66 Points for me from Windy Hill, finished in 1.17.33, Spencer Riley managed 57.49. Think I saw you finishing as I grabbed a quick burger before running off to collect my little one. Were you in a purple top ?
Dan
I'm debating wether or not to venture to High Cup on Saturday, great race but not sure im fit enough to justify the trip over the pennines, that said I really fancy it again ...![]()

Hi, Daz,
As I feared, the whippet-in-chief Simon Bailey ventured over for a blast at Flower Scar, setting the pace & edging ahead of Karl Gray & Sam Watson on the run-in, to finish in 47.11. After going over on my ankle, managed to limp round in 65.34, which would only garner a measly 61 points, so I'll stick with my Mickeleden result.
Races for March looking like Ilkley Moor, where Mr Bailey will ensure another feeble points tally & then Heptonstall.
Setting the bar very high there, Reverand! Some of us can only dream of an 80 pointer!
