I'll have to weigh in tomorrow - the scales need new batteries.

Not much consolation Stagger but you're 15lb lighter than me

163 lbs for me. This no drinking in the week and eating fruit rather than cake (whilst being stressed out to max by the house sale from hell) seems to work a treat

I am currently in Sweden and have no access to scales (I believe Sweden has such things but I can't find any ). I've definitely lost weight because I can see signs of my ribs again and bits of me wobble less. I'm running every day which is helping and not knowing how to use the cooker properly also helps as my burnt offerings are putting me off eating too much!

(pity that the kanelbullar are so addictive though!)

My cheap electronic scales are fundamentally flawed. If I lean forward just slightly my weight goes down significantly. If I lean back slightly my weight goes up. I don't trust myself to maintain the same body position on the scales each week. I need the truth. Any advise on better scales to invest in?

Interesting - what sort of variation are you getting? I have some fairly basic scales from John Lewis - leaning forward/back makes no difference. I think they were about £25.

    +/- 5k with a pronounced lean.

Will have to find some decent scales elsewhere.

Are they on a carpet? If so, try moving them to a hard surface. I had a set that did what you describe on carpet but were OK on a solid floor. Or you could change your running style so you're leaning forward all the time
