    Could be onto something there Splatcher. Perhaps always leaning towards magnetic north whilst running will make me lighter? It's a long shot and I'm no physicist. But it's got to be better than dieting.

    Is getting weighed straight after a tough run, cheating? I was 12st less than 30minutes after the run, I'm 12st 4lb now a few hours later after eating and drinking

    Right I'm now back fit and well post chest infection and twisted knee so need to get back on it. When's the next weigh in?

    Had a sneaky pre-weigh-in weigh-in. Have lost weight but not as much as I'd hoped despite running nearly everyday. Will weigh properly tomorrow and hope that the substantial increase in ascent over the last month has created heavy muscle and I am more toned and honed than the scales lead me to believe!
