How come 500 enter every year and less than 380 start?
Seems a big drop-out rate.

Is the big number on the front of the post card my race number???

I've not got mine yet, but the numbering tends to go in club order.
If it matches the one in http://www.bennevisrace.co.uk/2007_final_list.pdf then it probably is.

Since I've switched clubs this year I've moved up about 400 places before even registering

My Runner's Card arrived today. I like the route instructions which to paraphrase them, say "Run along the road, then halfway up the hill, then the rest of the way up the hill and then come back the way you went".
