Anyway I had to go out on the tandem today, followed by a trip to the boat!

First time for me and I really enjoyed it.
Many thanks to the organisers and also to the chap (?Mark Jackson) who helped me out with some electrolyte when I started cramping during the climb out of Hebble End.

A late massive thanks to everyone for a great day out. My first time at this and ran as a pair. Was great to see that the hotdog n whisky rumours were true!....and not just whisky, but Isle of Jura, mighty, cheers DT and your band of men!! Gave a welcome boost up Stoodley Now all we need is beer at the Blue Pig!!!
It was a little disconcerting to see so many people not really knowing where to go, and not exactly looking confident of their surroundings; fine when visibility is good, but if the clag had been down it could've been a touch different.
And I signed up for runfurther....just need to do some now!

The Jura was Mr Brightside's. I was largely just taking numbers and he was doing refreshments

I have to get round the Fellsman first Karen! Although I did trot round the Trimpell 20 yesterday too, so the miles are getting there. (bloody boring flat tarmac though!). Unfortunately Calderdale is the same weekend as London marathon, otherwise I'd have been having a crack.

Apologies and thanks to Mr Brightside for the whisky too are due too, so cheers!!

Sadly no Fellsman for me this year as it clashes with the Kintyre Ultra in our series. Still it will be good to do something different.
