    Re: Old Counties Tops

The results are done and are in the hands of Achille Ratti webmaster who is a very busy chap these days hence the delay in getting them posted. Email me at [email protected] and I will forward a copy to anyone who would like to see them.

    Old county tops

I am interested in the old county tops next year, I have done longer fell races before (Stretton skyline) and marathons before (slowish 3.52 Snowdonia this year) need a partner any one willing?

I'm interested - did it in 2012 and just sneaked in under 11 hours so if that's not too pedestrian for you PM me.

I took the day off work on Friday and recced round the latter half (from Langdale, starting by going directly up to Angle Tarn)
I missed out Scafell Pike summit though, as there was still quite a bit of snow and I wasn't sure what state Little Narrowcove/Rough Crag would be in for the descent, so I just went straight down the Esk from Esk Hause (never done that before!) and rejoined the route at the bottom of Little Narrowcove
I did all the rest if anything a bit quicker than I was expecting(!) so am now officially All Systems Go for the race
