Is this the route. If it is RFR didn't take it. He went more to the left of that line, on the right hand side of the crags. But observing from High Spy CP it does look a more easily runnable line, if a little further in distance. I assume this is what you are describing ...image.jpg

This years Waltz and last years Borrowdale I've taken the counter-intuitive line further to the right (from the runner's perspective). In fact yesterday, we agreed it's so far to the right, we named it the Farrage Line.
