Yes 38 seems to be the magic number. Was 35 but would not connect at this - what is this setting all about?
I gave up after 8 and went for a run. I'm not sure that they're working right after they've been upgraded, so I'd better leave the business being able to do at least half a job... Some would say, no change there!

No idea but I googled "Talk Talk VCI" and that's what it came up with! Seems that as a default routers tend to come with it set to 35, but in this country ADSL providers need it set to 38.
Dom, is the bike in your avator the one you are planning to do the duathlon on?
It's funny you should ask that....
The intention was to use my roadie, but I struggled badly on the hills on it last weekend, and then to cap it all the front mech packed in. Yesterday I did 16 on the MTB and felt far more comfortable. So at the moment I think the MTB might get the job!
