Might be a daft question but what's the point of having a cutoff time at the Hill Inn if it's not enforced?
Only 681 runners got through the sub 3-30 time limit at the Hill Inn and yet 704 are shown as finishing - did the marshalls ask them to retire and were ignored? If any of them had got into trouble on the last section who would have taken the blame?

Nobody after the cut-off continued. We had some computer issues earlier in the race, which is likely to have put the numbers out of whack.

Many thanks to all the marshals and organisers. I came just wanting to pick up the T shirt I'd ordered and beat the Ribblehead cutoff. Probabaly wouldn't have done it without the High Birkwith extra one to motivate me. Managed to fit Whernside in as well so a good day day out. If my knees hold out I'll be back next year properly honed and do the lot again!

Had a great day today. Set off slow & steady with no thoughts of breaking 4. Met plenty of great people, marshalls included & the clag lifted at the start to show off some stunning views. 4.16 for me.

I heard someone take a fall coming down Penygent on the grassy rocks must have been around 45 mins in is she OK? She was being tended to. Possibly in a Rossendale vest?

Great day thanks to all for making it so.

Yeah, I saw her Jezzlar. She was in tears & obviously in a lot of pain. She was being looked after as I passed. I saw another lady later on (maybe top of Whernside ?, can't remember) in a similar state. I hope they're both ok.

Not according to the official results! of the last twelve finishers eight were outside the time limit at Hill Inn, one by over 4 minutes

    Great event. Thanks!

I enjoyed yesterday's race and - like others - extend my thanks to the many superb cheerful mashalls along the route. I think special thanks should go to the Hill Inn marshalls who have the very difficult task of being "enforcers". I think we should leave them (without criticism) to exercise the job they take on and be grateful someone is prepared to do it. My other special mention goes to the people on the Ingleborough ridge who lug water across from the spring. This year you saved me from cramp and kept me going to the finish!!

You finished just in front of me Jez so must've been one of the 20ish that overtook as I hobbled down Ingleborough! Was going well until halfway up Ingleborough and then my legs decided they'd had enough.

Excellent organisation as always and thanks to the marshalls, especially those stood in the freezing cold on Whernside. Appreciated the veggie chilli at the end, very tasty!

What time are you taking as the cut off time?
