    Hellifield Gala races

    TV soap actor Adam Thomas who plays Emmerdale's Adam Barton will be at these races tomorrow, Saturday 2nd August. U10 race starts at 2.15pm, U12 - 2.30pm, U14/U16 - 2.45 & U18/seniors - 3.15pm. All entry on the day. Lots of Gala fun! Details http://fellrunner.org.uk/races.php?id=2826

    Second set of photos up on http://www.woodentops.org.uk/ a really good day out even though it was raining at first, brightened up later and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. A big thank you to all the people of Hellifield and beyond who put a lot of work in to making it a grand day out.

    Good race. Far tougher than I'd have thought stood in the middle of Hellifield. Thanks to everyone involved.

    Bit warm and far too humid for me though - can better running weather be arranged for next year please?!

    I've just looked at the stats Fozzy and it's only just a cat B, another few metres per mile and it would be a cat A
