good luck to everyone running this: I look forward to hearing how it all goes.
Will us couch potatoes be able to live track the event?

Good luck all
Wish I could be there. Family duties taken over.
Love to see how the technology works out. The fellrunning community should keep trialling new stuff. Some will be a disaster, some will become the new standard. Never know till you try it.
I think the sat phone has just "come of age" - and if so in time it will displace VHF radio because you can call anyone from a satphone, and anyone can call you. But only time will tell if there are problems in practice.

Dave Mole - I am assuming this is the link to use / disseminate to the couch potatos, but I'm sure Dom / Wheeze will correct me if it is not.
Bags packed and ready for a dawn start down the motorway.
Ugali on the menu last night, and again tonight after my evening yoga class.
Rest day today after racing Cracken Edge Wednesday evening, and a recovery trot yesterday.

If any marshals that are putting unmanned checkpoints out, could you bring a large hammer / mallet please! Or any marshals that have a large hammer / mallet, please bring it along!
Worry not old chap! I have packed 4 hammers and a lot of stakes! But please remember to bring penknives....many jobs for those (including prodding recalcitrant runners to get along!)
Went up from Hay to Hay Bluff today. No cows around. People will need to CONCENTRATE on nav on the ODP mindyou. Those who have reccied this will be at a distinct advantage.
I've got a sledge hammer I can bring....
Car packed and all ready to go, just need the kids to allow me a decent kip before my 0500 start.
See you all there.
