    I could have sworn it was Hay Bluff too. I have a photo that looks near identical, especially the base mounting. But taken from a slightly different angle.
    Is that a characteristic mounting in the Brecon Beacons National Park or something?

    Great countryside with good running and often overlooked in favour of N Wales for people in the North and Midlands.

    It was my first visit to that part of Wales and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a run over Waun Fach, Mynydd Llangorse & Mynydd Troed. Another one on Craig Cerrig-gleisiad, Fan Frynych & Fan Fawr, then a family walk up Cribyn, Fan y Big (teenage daughter loved that one!), Pen y Fan & Corn Du.
    I'll certainly be going back some time.
