£3 sounds a bit pricey for a 3.5% ale, especially in a rugby club. I thought Aussie beer was expensive but I'm not so sure now.

In The Friends Of Ham today: a terrific Roosters Coffee Porter, a superb Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout followed by a disappointing Northern Monk Brew Company Chennai Export Porter.
A terrific Moorhouse's Black Cat last night. £1.25 from Booths. The Premier Bitter, also from Moorhouse's, is only £1 !
Just finished a Moorhouse PB![]()

Mary Jane. a few
cask Jaipur and Moor Nor'hop at Major Toms
and one for Jez - the 'new' Guinness West Indies porter which was excellent, maybe a tad sweet.
i think it's available in most supermarkets. Guinness have just released that and a Dublin porter. I got mine from Morrisons, on offer at £1.50 each. It's not as good as F.E. but for the (current) price it's a worthy alternative.
