A rather slippery 6 miles in the lanes, amazing how many folk think it's a good idea to drive at 40+ on what is essentially an ice rink!!...
13 miles 3000'. Ingleton-Ingleborough-Sulber then back round and over Ingleborough. Tired legs (...and arms/chest!) from weight sessions. Very tired now...on night shift.

First day running after a fortnight off(weeks skiing followed by a minor back issue)
Interval session on the turbo trainer before work followed by another hour on the hill after work. Glorious weather yesterday, glad to only be on a half day.

First 'longish' run of the New Year. Trotted out of Dent along lanes in late afternoon, then headed up bridleway onto Whernside arriving on summit just before dark fell and had the place to myself. Longer run than I had planned, as I was drawn on by the ease of running (wind behind me as I discovered on the return!) so no head torch and be-shorted so rather stupid as it was blooming' freezing on the top. But what a spectacular view in the setting sun and those colours of the fells were amazing. Faster pace (for me)back along the lanes to Dent warmed by the experience of a v lovely evening and Mr 'three-quarters' Moon smiling down on me - 1 hr 46 mins.

12.3 miles today on the flat.
First run since the 30th, legs did not feel good after yesterday's turbo trainer effort. Easy jogging for tomorrow.

Good 15 miler. Whernside via Dalehead then back down the ridge following the wall. Finished off through Waterfalls walk...head torch required. Having a stiff groin/quad issue. Enjoyed it mainly! That wasn't you running down Dalehead road in blue shorts and vest was it Mossdog!?
