Gold medal winning Arbor Breakfast Stout last night. At 7.4% I'm not too sure I'd be having it for breakfast.

A tour of the best real ale bars in Leeds yesterday:
A pint of Dave dark mild from Great Heck Brewing Co. Excellent.
A pint of Smokeless Porter (Redwillow I think). Superb & very Smokey!
A bottle of Milk Stout from Left Hand Brewing Co. Not bad, but not the best.
A pint of Yorkshire Blackout Porter from The Great Yorkshire Brewing Co. Superb, as ever.
Things were getting a little hazy by this point & I can't remember what my last bottle was or whether it was any good.

Believe it or not I've developed a real liking for the Tesco branded "simply..." Range.
The Simply Dark and Simply Stout are very good, and at £1.39 ( I think?) a bottle, very good value.
Apparently the Norse god Thor is fond of stout, so now I use it as my recovery drink of choice after a long run.

Always a stout or 2 after a decent run for me. Must try the "Simply" ones.

Looks like Copper Dragon is closing and re-opening just down the road as Greyhawk - had a pint of Blonde Obsession, sublime
