    Head brewer at Greyhawk is a chap who drinks in the Cow occassionally I think. He has a good reputation. Think he was first brewer at Kirkstall. Expect good things.

    Well, I enjoyed my Dark Gold! I didn't know CD was so badly thought of. I always thought the best bitter was reasonably quaffable...

    I'll be at the Pendle Beer Festival at Colne Municipal Hall tomorrow.
    It's in it's 11th year and they are always well organised.
    Over 100 beers to chose from ~ slurp !

    2 pints of tremendous Naylors Black & Tan in The Listers Arms, Ilkley, this aft. £2.05 a pint!! Not grumbling.

    I was in there last night Jez, and had the same - very nice!
    Just before that I was in the Flying Duck; compliments to their dark mild, too.

    Well I was actually on my way to The Flying Duck, but decided to take a cheap detour!

    Understandable, although I didn't think the Duck was too badly priced.
    Not the cheapest, but there's plenty more expensive pubs around.
