Another great morning despite a few tumbles and managed to locate all the knee deep bogs on the climb after Whetstone Gate.

Heard a lady broke her ankle in Esholt Woods, hope it wasn't too bad as far as broken ankles go; of course could have been worse in terms of location but still not nice, poor lass.

As usual huge thanks to marshalls and organisers. Hope everyone else made it back in one piece.

I went to the path at Cowpers Cross today so I didn't have to go into the bogs. Super conditions out of the course apart from a few patches of ice, given the recent wind and snow we were really lucky

Do you know the winning time by any chance please, looked to be a fair bit of local quality at the start (I think 1st lady passed me climbing the Chevin... still running; hats off to that girl!)

I was running behind a girl in a Baildon vest somewhere near the Swastika Stone when she took a nasty fall .... I helped her up and there didn't seem to be any obvious blood or damage, but I didn't see her finish. I hope she's OK.

I thought the route was generally OK yesterday. Still a bit of ice up Rocky Valley, but like most I managed to avoid the bad bits.

2:28 is an outrageous time isn't it? Well done to Graham and Jane.

The Baildon runner was probably Michelle Morris. She's training for the MdS, so while she's tough enough to finish under almost any conditions, if she'd picked up an injury that would have been aggravated by another ten miles of running she might have decided to bale out rather than risk it.

Another brilliant Rombald's and a PB in my 16th consecutive year (those flagstones have some use ). Missed you protodoc; sorry you couldn't make it.

Just uploaded my race photos (make that checkpoint photos due to a bit of running being involved).
