I know of one ladies team not getting a place. shocking to have a measly 6% of entries attributed to ladies teams.

Very valid point. % of W v M (individuals, rather than teams) sounds comparable to what I’ve seen for most other long fell races, particularly the tough events like this or OCT, Fellsman for e.g.Proportion of females 21%, males 79% in the team list.
