is that doable? What kind of time do you need to do Langdale in, then get over to Wasdale in?

    Here is Mrs Staggers thoughts.
    Race Langdale in around 2.30/2.40
Wasdale is approx 11k over a couple of lumps.
Show race for seniors will be off approx 3.30ish.

It's do able for some of the elites.

I'll put that on the back burner for a few years time!
The most difficult bit might be getting out of Wasdale afterwards!

The beginning of 2016 marks the end of Fishwicking as we know it.
Watch out for a new era of our Daz; I predict several race wins by The Man this year.

After 527 races in the last 5 years...I'm going to try and be more selective and see if it improves my running.

Over all the 527 races I've averaged a top 18% finish, which I'm reasonably happy with....but could I do better?

I know I say it ever year, but this year I'm really going to try and take it more serious, start training and race not as much.

I absolutely love fell racing and doing over 100 races every year kinda proves this point....but I'm intrigued to see if I can improve.

Racing less and training might not work for me. After a couple of months I might sack it off....only time will tell, but I'm going to give it a go.

    Happy running everyone!

I was going to Fishwick this weekend at the County XC champs then Trigger. But all my eggs are now in the Trigger basket!

Looking forward to seeing the Bearded Wonder upwardly mobile on the results sheet. Tactically you should know what you're doing after all those races! And with all those doubles/tripples (races, not whisky over christmas!) have stamina to keep gannin when tired!

For the record - I did 29 fell races, 6 XC and 32 orienteering events last year - probably too much (I rarely 'race' O, just bob around) but did have my most successful year to date!

You've had a great year Nic, winning the classic Edale skyline must of felt mighty fine. Really good to see your continued improvement mate, all the best.
